Cafe Tola is a small coffee and empanda shop on Southport Avenue that has expanded over the years into a chain of stores all over Chicago. This one however, is near and dear to my heart. In light of everything going on they’ve boarded up their doors and windows, but they are still operating from the side entrance one customer at a time. Definitely one of my favorite local businesses and I’m glad to see they’ve found a way to keep operating and serving the public.
