Beth Ann and I have been trying to figure out a suitable way to get produce delivered semi-regularly. We started off with Imperfect Foods, but ultimately determined this was an opportunity to support local farmers and businesses owned by disenfranchised groups. Thats when we found ‘Forty Acres’ a Black owned business in Chicago’s Austin neighborhood that does delivery. This whole box was only $10 and has been well worth it. They also offer a ‘buy one give one’ model where you can order a second box for someone experiencing food instability.
