I remember distinctly when my girlfriend (now wife) bought this for me because I remarked that she was giving me a chore. This plant represented the first thing in my adult life that I had to be responsible for other than myself. It was a reason that I couldn’t just pick up and leave for months at a time without a plan. I kinda resented that at the time, but now I sort of really appreciate it and how big it has grown.
